| The girls' and boys' youth clubs (ages 15-22) meet separately at least once a week. The girls' club has four components to its focus: social, spiritual, practical, and social action. Weekly meetings vary greatly, but are typically characterized by cooking/craft classes, discussion groups, volunteering with other organizations, and cross-community youth events. The boys' group sustains a more socially based program involving football, table-tennis, computer games and other local and cross community events. The eventual goals of the clubs are to create a core of membership and engage those members in a process of personal development through mental and spiritual growth. Both clubs enjoy an environment of mutual friendships, learning, respect, and love. |
