| Saturday Club | |
|
The club has been running in different locations since 1990. It began when mums in the area had a desire to meet together while their younger children were attending the Rainbow Club. |
|
| The club runs one Saturday a month during the year with one week of concentrated activities during the summer. It has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where both Protestants and Catholics are able to gather, and where everyone is made to feel welcome. | |
| We consider the whole person when constructing our programme and consequently have various activities for developing practical and social skills, e.g.: crafts, cooking, flower arranging, outings, and chat. | |
| The club also provides us with a forum for sharing with one another, and challenging each other in our spiritual growth. It is usual to have a guest speaker share how God is working in his/her life on the Saturday afternoons. | |

| Sewing Group | |
| Approximately 15 women have gathered every week since 1995, and learned how to make curtains, cushions, and various patchwork articles. Every year approaching Christmas and Easter, the group undergoes special projects; such as making quilts to send to orphanages in Romania and Croatia. We have also made a special banner for a Christmas carol service, and it has been much admired. Along with the sewing classes, we have enjoyed other activities such as line dancing sessions, Keep Fit, and many social outings. | ![]() |

| Mothers & Toddlers | |
|
The Mothers and Toddlers group began in 1998 in order to allow local women to meet and share in one anothers lives. It enables the women to find encouragement from others living in the same situations and facing similar problems, and also brings mutual benefits and joy through common victories. Every week, the mums have an opportunity to chat and share in a friendly atmosphere over a cup of coffee. |
|
The children play together, eat together, and have an opportunity to develop listening, writing, and craft skills in various structured activities. The future for the group is held in the hands of the local people. Our hope is that it will continue to meet the need for social interaction between the parents and children of the community in a caring and warm atmosphere. |
