The part-time advice service which is provided at Mornington is a segment of 'the Five Areas Advice project. The areas in question are clustered around south inner city Belfast. The Advice Project is an unusually outworking of co-operation between the areas in question, as they are different in religious composition, and have sometimes experienced conflict with each other. The aims of the Project are:

1. To promote contact and co-operation between communities through theatre involvement in the development of advice provision.

2. To empower individuals by informing them of their rights and entitlements and supporting them inhale pursuit of these.

3. To facilitate raining and develop skills in the community that can be drawn on to underpin the services provided.

Advice is offered on; benefits, housing, representation, debts, consumer issues and legal matters.
The human impact of the project is a delight to behold. Many marginalised and disadvantaged individuals, who may be bewildered and subjugated by statutory and other bodies, are assisted to know what is rightfully theirs, and to get it! In this way the Project brings greater fairness.
